The East of England is a leading region in the UK for innovation, R&D and technology, HBIC is delighted to be establishing a programme across the region and in working with the Design Council, to support it in its national development.
Design has recently been seen by investors as a key strategic discipline that can be used to unlock market opportunities or, when utilised alongside the science and technology in a business, it can identify and establish the values in the desired marketplace, before attempting commercialisation.
Effectively, design promotes innovation, creativity and risk mitigation in technology businesses. At the same time it enables those involved in the programme to work in bringing their business commercial success through customers, competitiveness and investor support.
HBIC, EEDA and the Design Council have developed a seres of Design Days to support the growing needs of emerging technology businesses by enabling them to integrate design into business strategy.
